such a sweet story. I enjoyed this the whole way. there's so much character growth, and I always love a romance that discusses mental health. I think Rhys is now my favorite mmc in a romance so far. such a sweet boy, and I totally saw a bit of myself in him. Corinne writes very relatable characters and moving stories! I can't wait to see what she publishes next :)

Hockey romances are my kryptonite. I've said it once and I'll say it again, they never fail to make my heart swoon and my chest ache in the best way possible.

This book follows Rhys Koteskiy as he navigates finding his way back to loving hockey after having a horrible accident that leaves him having panic attacks as soon as he gets on the ice. Sadie Brown is juggling it all from parenting her two younger siblings, keeping up with college courses and then figure skating. She's spread far too thin but the only solace she gets is when she's on the ice.

These two form an unbreakable bond that makes my heart hurt in the best way possible. Rhys helps take some of the load off Sadie's shoulders - whether she wants him to or not. And Sadie helps heal Rhys in a way he never thought possible. It's a beautiful love story that had me kicking, screaming, and crying.

I listened to this one and oh boy! I was cryin!

I was not prepared for the emotional pull this book had, I am a softy but most sports romances don't tug too hard on the serious strings, at least not a lot I've read!

This book dives into mental health, and healing in such a good way. Rhys and Sadie were full of warmth and honestly so were all the characters.

Rhys parents healed a part of my soul I didn't know needed healing also.

Overall, this was a great book to listen to and a incredible debut novel!
