Hmm. So after five issues, I don't feel like I know Gwen very well. She was never quite elevated beyond her quirky concept and it smacks of a lost opportunity - what would be unique about the radioactive spider bite happening to a teenage girl? Lots I'm sure. Still, I was sad when I realised this was the end. Hopefully Gwen will have more luck in future arcs... And with less quirky artwork. Clean Pichelli lines maybe?!

I really wanted to like Spider Gwen but so far the story's pretty meh. I like the art, it's colorful and agreeable to the eye, but the story line? It's so confusing, it's all over the place and some stuff don't even make sense -to me at least- so yeah, I know I'm new to the comics world but I've read America, Gwenpool, some issues of The Amazing Spider Man, Wonder Woman ... and never had trouble with the stories. But with Spider Gwen .. I don't know. I'm so disappointed because I absolutely love Spider Gwen in The Amazing Spider Man (the movie) so yeah. I'll obviously keep reading Spider Gwen since my brother bought me all the issues printed in France but I don't have any expectations. I just hope the story gets better eventually!

Sad Secret Wars ended this title, especially with no answer about anything? Really enjoyed what we got, though.
