Humorous and heartwarming. Honestly wanted to start it again right after I finished it.

This book was a funny, quick, entertaining read! I got through it all in one sitting. I definitely recommend giving it a read if you have a son and have enjoyed other books by this author. My only complaint was the stream of consciousness writing style which is not my favorite.

Backman is back at his brilliant best here.
Backman is at his brilliant best here, using punchlines and sarcasm to depict the helplessness of new parents. The book touches upon several of his personal experiences, reminiscent of instances and characters from his bestselling books.
At the end, he reveals a personal tragedy that will surprise every Backman fan. An amazing book—I liked it.

“You and your mother are my greatest, most wonderful, scariest adventure. i'm amazed every day that you're still letting me follow along.”
I'm not a parent and I don't even like kids but one thing I'm sure about this is that Fredrik is raising a gentleman.
