Finally!
After reading the first three books in this series, all I want is Logan and Katie’s story! Fortune’s Kiss also left me wanting more of Logan, so I’m stoked when I realize early in that this is what I’ve been waiting for in more ways than one.

Logan’s got some drama; not too much. Just enough so it adds some mystery to the book for a little while. There’s plenty of sex, good times with friends, the small town I’ve come to love so much. There’s also an ongoing mystery from books past and it really comes to a head in this one.

This one starts with the conflict/drama between the two protagonists and works its way out. Katie is a great character, one of my favorite from this series. Conley built up the drama between this pair in the books leading up to this, so it’s all really fun. They work out one conflict only to turn around and have another so if you enjoy drama, this book is your jam.

To summarize: there’s sex (BDSM), drama, multiple mysteries, small-town stuff - it’s got it all!

Clearly, a lot of effort and research went into the making of this series; Conley doesn’t do anything halfway. The firefighter scenes throughout the series seem real. Events are mostly more plausible than convenient, continuity throughout the series is pretty tight.

Editing/Proofing - completely professional, clean.
Formatting - gorgeous.
Cover- absolutely perfect concept, could be more professionally executed, but it works.

The biggest problem with this book is when it ends, and that goes for the whole series. I want more of this town.
