Poor Millie, always wanting to help everyone. What a story. Once I reached the halfway mark I finished the rest of the book in one sitting. It was stressful reading this, but very much worth it!

My mouth is still open because this book was a trippy rollercoaster ride of events! I was leery about cracking open this book on my Kindle, from some of reviews by some of my friends, BUT LET ME TELL YOU, I am glad I FINALLY read it for myself! This plot twist was EVERYTHING! I thoroughly enjoyed this book through the end. Even after I tapped my screen expecting more, I still wanted an extra epilogue or an indication that a 3rd book was on the horizon. When it comes to Freida McFadden and her Pen, the plot twists cannot be touched. I am speechless right now!

What is this book about in a nutshell: how would you feel if you tried to help someone that was the real monster? Despite your sense tingling telling you something sinister is going on, would you ignore your gut feelings? Perception is everything, but everything that you see may not always be the truth. Are your eyes playing tricks on you? Take a closer look to notice the clues around you before diving in to be a hero. Can you piece together a puzzle before it's too late and you spend the rest of your life in prison?

honestly this book was amazing. i was hooked from the start to the end. i’m normally pretty good at predicting these endings but i did not see this coming. i did predict enzo being the black mazda and being her guardian angel. i seriously could not put it down and would have finished yesterday if i didn’t get so tired.
