I don’t quite know how I feel about this one. It was really interesting, but the romance bit never truly felt convincing.

Short story available on Tor website. While I appreciate the message, it didn't move me in any significant way. It was ok. Nothing more.

Sort of weird to read about a pandemic during a pandemic but it was quite a nice story.
It started out feeling eerily familiar, for which I think the author should be commended. Knowing we don't wear hazmat suits now, we probably wouldn't wear them during a pandemic like the one described either, but suspending that small part of disbelief isn't hard to do and the story unfolds beautifully. I'd read a full-novel expansion on this story too.

A story that focus on feeling to entertain my emotion, not the solution. I enjoy the short story without much analysis thinking.
