Rereading the series. Poor Eno was just trying to save his own life and that of his traveling companion when he killed three cannibalistic women intent on eating them, but that brings their father's wrath down upon him. Since the father is the Great God Pan and is an unstoppable force of nature, Eno flees to the civilized world of Egypt, where he is tasked with finding out who or what is killing the Pharaoh's sons. Loved the characters in this one.
