A sweet conclusion to the arc with some good fights, yet I do think it was dragged on too long.

Art: The art style I still like. It’s cute and not too simple. The backgrounds are blank or too bland. The action can be hard to follow sometimes, but the composition is usually pretty good. Plus the expressions are solid.

Story: I like how the characters have actually changed by the end, it's subtle too. The characters keep the story fresh, since there are alot of battles. You care more about the battles because you care about the trainers. I still like the antagonists in this, and how their goals are fleshed out more. They're not just Saturday morning cartoon villains. However back to the battles, I do think these two volumes dragged out the battles too long. But I do think the battles improve alot throughout the volumes. There still are some flaws though. They still use fake outs, but they're creative and written well. I like how they balance the transitions through the multiple side plots. I do think some of the battles that were started in the previous volume have a smaller scale, and so the impact on the reader isn't as big. They just feel like another battle the hero will defiently win. Yellow's final battle was way too ridicolous I couldn't take it seriously lol. However I still liked this volume more than the last one. The battles in the end, were better too. The ending was also really nice. I love Yellow ahhh.

My last nitpick is the amount of stuff thrown at the wall, there's so many plot points.

It has been a while since I've read one of these volumes. I had forgotten a lot but it was really easy to get back to the continuation of yellows journey. Pokemon adventures volume 7 is the resolution of the second chapter of the pokemon manga. It was very enjoyable and had a satisfying ending I don't have any complaints about.

As the end of Amarillo's (Yellow's) arc, this book does it all to conclude this epic journey. The battle sequences are great, I honestly could feel myself inside the story. This book ties ends, but at the same time opens a new door for next installments. I really enjoyed the overall series a lot, I feel they really did leave a good impression of Kanto, its Pokémon, trainers, gym leaders, elite four, tournaments, and activities.

The characters really won a small part of my heart. Their development and strategizing really left an impression in me. Great characters make great stories if used correctly, and Kusaka really knew how to push them into their greatest potencial.

Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Professor Oak, Bill... Amazing, just amazing.

wait why are the elite four evil here

But honestly, Yellow's arc ends in a phenomenal way! I love her so much and she's such a great addition to the cast and I'm sad to see her go. Not too sad, though, because I love Silver and I'm hype for the next arc.

It was only battles but it's pokemon so it makes a good ending for the series. AND a beautiful start for the rest of the serie.

This volume provides a satisfying conclusion to Yellow’s arc, and it was fun to see the return of a lot of important characters.
