I really enjoyed the tales of this couple's adventure. Humor filled, I had to chuckle a few times at the situations they ran across and their reactions. It was descriptive enough that I could picture everything in my head. I also appreciated both authors' candidness. The audio book is well narrated.

I picked this up on audio to give it a brief listen; I was trying to determine if it would be a good gift option for my mom. Initially I was not planning on reading the whole thing, it was slightly slow moving then I got turning the book back on at every opportunity. I really did enjoy following along with Matt and Karen as they went on their journey!

I do wish there had been just to get more information at certain points such as what State parks were located in, that was sometimes mentioned but other times not. I also wish on some of the more remote trips that they took that they had explained just a tad bit more about the pre-planning and everything that went into getting to the parks.

I'm looking forward to grabbing the physical copy of this book and gifting it to my mom who is interested in traveling with my dad to see all of the national parks!

This was such a fun and entertaining read. I appreciated the authors' candor and humor, and I also enjoyed learning about the many national parks we have in the US!

I liked the first book better, but this was fun to read as well.

If you enjoy the outdoors, public lands and hiking as I do, then you will probably enjoy this book. Lots of quirky humor provided by Matt and Karen as they recount their adventures in the form of "emails" to their friends Bob and Sue. This is the second in a series of three Dear Bob and Sue books, and the second I've read. I needed this fun, light read after reading The underground Railroad, and this fit the bill.

I am a National Parks Nerd. It is my goal to visit every National Park (62 now!) and as many non-park sites run by the NPS as possible. I picked this book up at the Mammoth Cave NP gift shop on last years visit - it’s our closest park and we go at least annually.
I enjoyed this book. I like the easy to read tone. By turning it into emails rather than just a journal they could add more conversational anecdotes. This book gave me a feel for which parks we should visit while my daughter is young and which we should wait and see when she is older and can handle longer hikes.
I am not sure everyone will like this book but those with an interest in the parks definitely will.

This was an interesting view into Bob and Sue's time off to vist the National Parks. I laughed out loud at much of the humor. I found their banter and the way they make fun of each other in their letters to Bob and Sue mostly funny. I hear they're more serious about their park visits on their podcast in case this book's flippant, sometimes negative tone bothers.

I wish the authors had narrated the audiobook (the have a podcast by the same title) as the narrators, though good, are those I'm used to reading thrillers, and didn't have quite the right inflection.
