Love his humour and love the twists. Was slow moving though until you got about half way through. Could figure out alot of the twists prior to having it revealed until the last part. Always enjoy his books.

Somehow this book wasn't on my shelf. I read it in 2016 or 2017 and it was amazing! About to start book three in this series and I can't wait.

I rarely read fiction with male main characters written by male authors.
This book was similar to the other I read by Barclay. The main part was wrapped up, then he kept going with other details. I like that.

This book was like a Sephanie Plum or Bubbles Yabloski mystery from a man's point of view.

Once the plot FINALLY gets going (about halfway through the book!), this is really sharp, funny and clever. It's a shame you have to plough through that long-winded and very dull first half to get there. Zack and his family are great though, and I've already started the next in the series.

Really funny. Like a good Three's Company episode...but with murder and stuff.
