i really enjoyed this series, fast paced, spicy, crazy, stabby, all of my favourite things in a book series. Raven and her guys are unhinged in the best way, i’m a little disappointed in the ending. it was pretty anticlimactic after such a big build up. happy they’re happy but i thought there would be more.

This series has got better and better with each book and while this might be the 5th & last book it certainly packs in a lot.  I love how the relationship between Raven and her guys has grown and developed and we get to see her more comfortable with her emotions.  Raven is sassy, sexy and deadly and is the perfect combination for each of her men.  I love how all the guys accept Raven for who she is and are there to help her learn to recognise and handle her newly found emotions.  I’ve loved everything about this series and am sad it’s over but it’s definitely finished on a high.

I picked this series up two years ago and I can't believe this is the end for Raven and her guys. Raven was one of the first truly unhinged FMCs I had read and her story has kept me engaged in each book. Raven unapologetically embraces her darkness across the series but after all the secrets revealed in the previous book, Lethal, the dynamic really shifted in this as Raven and her Ravenmasters work together as a team to try and save Cole's sister.

This book primarily focuses on Cole and Jasper after the fallout from Lethal. Cole is probably the most like Raven out of all the guys and their side quest to the bar shows they are two halves of the same whole. I loved their possessive banter together with Cole sulking every time he thought Raven might share "their thing" with one of the other guys. I would have loved more of Jasper's subplot though as it was really interesting but there was a lot of ground to cover and the pacing was very quick. I was disappointed though that Vander and particularly Grayson weren't in it more since its the last book and although the group is together they aren't featured as much. Grayson is often mentioned as being the light to Raven's darkness and with this book being as dark as it is I thought he would be a bit more prevalent however both Vander and Grayson had their own books earlier in the series so across the five books it balances out.

There is plenty of action and steam in keeping with the earlier books. I would love to see more of this world and these characters again - if you like possessive characters with an FMC who is as dark as they are you will really enjoy this.

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
