I'm not even a big soccer fan, but I'm a big fan of Kuper's style and research. This book is a pretty excellent look at the various factors that go into the analysis of soccer. It really makes me wonder how other sports could be revolutionized by this kind of analysis. In the meantime, it kept me engaged and wanting to learn more and start watching some soccer.
