Such a strange book, and again reminding me how nice it can be to read something which does not take place within our universe/world. One of those books that make you realize all the things you can do in books, which is magical. 4 stars only because sometimes I did feel like I'd lost my anchor, and lost a little bit of my investment in the book, which is totally on me / to be expected with this sort of weirdness.

Thoroughly mystic; the conjuring of a Alchemical fever dream; close proximity to the enfant terrible.
