A decent follow-up to the first book; I liked getting to see where the characters went, even though there were some repetitive arcs. I wish the older adult characters, especially the mother, played a more active role in the plot; it feels very convenient that all the teenagers and young adults are left to do essentially whatever they want.

This took me soo long to finish. By the end of it I wished there was no more to this series, but alas!

I’m actually dreading reading book 3, but I don’t think my curiosity will let me live without the closure.

So onto book 3 but……….I think I’ll wait for book 4 to release and then just binge it.

What do you all think ?

This second installment in the series was better than the first. I felt that there was more of a story line with a more satisfying ending. This book developed Beatrice into a better character, but the other 3 narrating characters were a bit flat. I am curious to read the next one in the series.

There is just too much. Katharine McGee just tried to add four different romance plots and she was unable to flesh them out or give them much dimension because the book is about 300 pages. You cannot fit four good fleshed-out romances in 300 pages especially when they are all occurring separately. The book's plot is also lacking like what is there at the beginning other than the author just saying that these people like each other. Then in the last 20 pages the climax, the cliched predictable climax, occurred. The resolution was the same thing cliched and so predictable like at the beginning of the book if you asked me to predict the ending, I could have told you. BORING!!

Obsesssed

Never would have I thought I needed an American royalty story. But I am obsessed.

I'm so happy for Beatrice and Sam. I love that they have come so far and pushing the country forward together.

Teddy and Marshall are both perfect in their own ways.

I hope Nina's time with Sam helps her figure her life out.

I'm feeling super bad for Jeff, and he needs some happiness. And the truth.

Daphne is truly terrible. I get Ethan and the she's done terrible things. But, how can she look in the mirror?
