Good book

Eve and Chris are great characters. Eve is a baker who is in hiding from the police while Chris is the new guy in town and he just happens to be a cop and a bear. In this book shifter are a secret so Chris kept his even when Eve told hers. I have to admit I thought she was on the run because of something she did and was a fugitive. This was a fast read for me I started at 9:45am and it's now 11:10am. I'm a fast reader when I have free time and especially when the book is good but this didn't end too soon for me. I'm so glad there is another book out I'm wondering what is going to become of Chris's brothers.

Eve Connolly left home ten years ago and changed her name and has been hiding out in the small town of Linden Creek ever since. When she meets the new cop in town Chris Anders, she feels an attraction for him instantly.

Chris arrives at the bakery to take Eve to the crash her delivery man was in. However bad weather and a crash of their own has them hunkered in a cabin. Chris could not think of anything better because Eve is his mate. Now he wants to know everything about Eve and the reason she ran from home.

Fun story, a bit rushed but overall entertaining.

He’s a cop! And a werebear! She’s living under an assumed identity, so she is pretty wary of the police. And then they get stuck on a mountain together! Not the best bear shifter book I have ever read, but also not the worst. Ho hum.
