A good continuation in the series. Easy to read. Light tone. The plot for this one didn't feel quite as compelling as some of the others in the series, but it was still a good read. And I'm still thoroughly invested in the series. It's serving as a good palate cleanser after a series of `challenging reads.

Note: For this series, I highly recommend the audio version. Johanna Parker does a great job with the audio narration, adding extra personality and dept to the book, which I think it benefits from.

This book, while keeping me entertained, definitely wasn't my most favorite book of the collection so far. I felt that the ending came to an abrupt hault and there was really no leading up to it. It could also be my cold/flu-infused brain that was unable to follow... but who knows. I just felt like all of a sudden the mystery solved itself and it seemed like a cop-out ending. I can't say that this makes me not want to read the next books. I am hoping there is more Eric and Bill in the next one and less were-community. We shall see. Overall, I thought it was entertaining enough and look forward to reading the next one.

Although I thought there were too many subplots to follow in this episode, I still thought it was much better than the last installment. The Bill character is starting to annoy me, but I am liking Eric and Sam much, much more than before. A great fun, read.

This book isn't as centered on Sookie as the last one was. I didn't like it as much for this reason. It seems that Harris had lost her Sookie voice for the first part of this book. It isn't until the very end that she resumes a voice we recognise.

Not my favourite. The end is promising which is why I'll read on.
