I love a finale ramping up. I'm still utterly confused as to WTF is going on (to quote the recap page), but boy am I enjoying the ride.

This blew my mind. Not sure what to do with that final revelation, but this was great from start to finish. Really mythology/plot dense in a way middle issues of arcs usually aren’t. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Every issue gives me a heart attack, I'm never gonna survive the ending! As usual, we got a bunch of answers and a million more questions. I'm glad to know my previous theory about Ananke's sister being The Crone and the Maiden meant
Minerva and the old fake Ananke were the same person.
And this issue makes me feel like it's possible my other theory is a good one too. Persephone does look a lot like the real Ananke, and she said her god would awaken last. So unless there's yet another mystery, I think Laura/Persephone is Ananke's god and might have to share her body with her. Another possibility is that the physical similitudes truly mean Laura is Ananke's scion and that she will have the powers to finally put an end to the evil sister's reign of terror. Unless
Baal kills her first, of course. I have no clue why he's been lying about which Baal he was. So far, none of the deities have been practicing the cults linked to them, no one would have suspected him of burning babies alive even if he had admitted to being that Baal. But I guess he wanted to appear even less menacing... In any case, it's starting to be a lot of sacrifices for weird rituals x)
. And since I'm a huge fan of theories, here's another one: could the Great Darkness be code for Ananke? If Persephone is "just" her goddess, then it means she's yet to appear in any of the returns. And fake!Ananke is in full control of which gods return, when, where, and of what she tells them. It's highly possible the two years thing is a lie to get them to sacrifice themselves or to kill one another because otherwise she looses the game to Ananke. Of course, I realize this idea doesn't explain what happened at Baal's appartement or with his family. But dude has apparently a lot more secrets than fake!Ananke, so perhaps that wasn't the Great Darkness he saw.

And now, I will go take a painkiller for TW+TD signature headache xD

Hello 1923 AD gods. How are you? Ah yes, that's how you are.

This comic starts with where the 1923 AD issue left off, and I appreciated seeing the ending for sure.

Then we see the 2014 gods and more of the story is unfolding and more answers are happening and I'm loving this more and more each day. I can't believe I only have what...10 issues left?!?!

I'm not ready.

(I'm so ready).
