Aw this book was so cute and fun, and funny. I really enjoyed it. It was a quick little graphic novel that I was just able to fly through in one sitting. When I started reading the book I wasn't expecting much since I was only looking for an easy read, I was not expecting to love it as much as I did! I really enjoyed how the book was set up to seem like a play, especially since one of the main things through the story is the play they are doing, so I felt that was a very creative idea. The romance was a little sketchy at time, it had its high and low points. I honestly was really expecting the twist at the end, there was some hints but I wasn't really picking up on them apparently. Due to the twist I do wish the ending was a bit different, but oh well.
All in all I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quick middle grade graphic novel.

Thought I would predict everything that happened in this story. Was very pleasantly surprised to say that I did not! Super cute, inspiring, and hopeful. Important and enlightening content. I love how the protagonist’s ambition and creative vision are big focuses too.

I love Raina Telgemeier. Teeth just blew me away, and Drama is a pretty tremendous look at middle school drama. I also have to say that the coloring is perfect. Love the purple!

Super fun. Definitely made me miss my stage crew days (which were in high school and college, and had much less drama). I cannot fathom how this level of production would happen with 6th-8th graders...
