me encanto, crea unos personajes, que para mi, esta bien desarrolados.

lo unico malo en mi caso,fueron los nombres, me cuesta retener tantos, asi que llegue un punto en que no sabia quien era un personaje que desaparecia y volvia aparecer.

y todo ese misterio alrededor de los origines, me gusto mucho.

This book surprised me.  My first time reading something by Maryse Conde.  Published in 1997, I found it difficult to get into at first and to get a feel for all the characters.  But the deeper meaning of the novel took me by surprise.  It didn't end the way I thought it might and it left me thinking deeply about the trauma of displacement that so many people have or had to suffer.
