I have read a *lot* of romances. A whole lot, many of which have grand romantic gestures, but I have never read a grand romantic gesture that equals the one in this book.

I found this one more of a struggle to get through though still just as well written as all of her other books. 
I love all the connections and references to other books in her repertoire
