I am going to start a shelf on Goodreads entitled “Perfect Romance” and Hidden is going to go right up on it, right after that I’m going to put Nick on my book boyfriend shelf.

I started it and finished it all in one afternoon. (193 pages) I couldn’t put it down, had to keep reading to see where they were going. It was a perfect summer read. It had romance, it had the beach, and it had the gorgeous guy + beautiful girl. I think I *heart* Selena Laurence after reading this one. I adored Lyndsey, I loved Nick, and I thought Raoul and Leesa were the epitome of what I want to be when I get to be that age.

We have our hero and our heroine, both with something in their backgrounds that has damaged them horribly, both having sworn off love, both scared to move forward.

I was rooting for both of our main characters (and a couple of side characters) to make it through their past to each other. Did they make it? It was touch and go there for awhile, and I’m not going to tell you. :) There was one twist that I didn’t see coming, it was a decision Nick made that made me so sad, but I have to admit it was a very very smart thing to do. I love love at first sight, but it’s more believable when the couple takes some time to let things grow and build and heal naturally rather than getting married a week after meeting.

I honestly loved both Nick and Lyndsey and I will definitely be picking up the next book in the Hiding From Love series. That one is about Gabe, Nick’s best friend.

I received a copy of Hidden to read for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this story. It's well written and it pulls you in from the very beginning. I really loved the characters. Their interactions were great. The way that their relationship progresses felt very real to me and I really liked how it progressed. I was sucked into this world and I don't want to leave. On to the next book! :) I highly recommend this series.

I was given a copy of this book in return for a honest review.

A really enjoyable read. This is the story of Lyndsey, a girl who has run away from her identity for the most valid reasons. She doesn't trust her secrets with anyone, even her employers at the bar she works, who love her like their own. Nick has moved to Hawaii to go to college after discharge from the army, following trauma in Afghanistan. Nick and Lyndsey are drawn to one another, whether it's a good idea or not. The story is a gripping ride, with twists and turns that absorb you. I would definitely like to read more by Selena Laurence.
