Lots of explicative history, but I liked it a lot anyway. The setting in the Languedoc was especially interesting because my sister and her family just spent a month there. I wonder if they saw all the places in the book. I'll be checking out more Cotton Malone books. It's good to have another character to follow.

This book has the action and twists that keep the reader's attention. I did feel like it shared components to that of Davinci Code. Still a great book. I would love to read more from this author in the near future.

I enjoy a good thriller and willingly suspend disbelief. This is one of those times. There is much conjecture and theory in this work about the Knights and their treasure. This becomes a better crafted tale similar to the DaVinci Code. It is enjoyable, and the characters reasonable developed. It is a work of fantasy, true, but it stirs interest in history, which I'm all for. Realize that this is fiction, enjoy the ride and if interested take time to learn more.

Long. Great deal of research seemed to go in to this book and that was fascinating. Sometimes hard to keep track of who was speaking - had to back track several times to be sure I was following who was saying what.

I was intrigued with the subject and the potential of the plot, but the authors writing of the characters dialog does not deliver. Hokey at best. The author is no Dan Brown.
