Accidentally read this series out-of-order so this is apparently my second time reading. It felt vaguely familiar but it’s so low-key I kind of forgot. It definitely made more sense this time around though and is still a very nice series. No complaints. Not surprised that the ratings jump up with this volume since the general manga audience probably got bored and jumped ship after the last book and those who stuck with it enjoy its meandering pace and cute, slacker energy, which does kind of pick up towards the end. I’m intrigued.

Also known as the volume that made me grudgingly accept and even like Makoto. Chapter 33 made itself one of my favorites for performing such a feat. Also, all my Kageyama and Sachi feels (although not at the same time). I suddenly crave some Sachi/Aki fanfiction, as terrible as that seems.

Some great moments in here. Reminds me why I need to keep up with this series.

I feel like this keeps getting better and better. There's not too much drama but enough to keep the story interesting. And I love the characters and the art. One of the best manga-series I'm reading right now.

L’histoire stagne un peu mais vu la fin ça va repartir rapidement je pense (j’espère?)

Mitsu struggles with his place in the guild as they bring on a new rookie and he takes his first class window washing test. Kageyama is forced to quit for health reasons and the changes leave everyone wondering where they stand in the world. The same quiet, organic growth and shifting of community that makes this series so enjoyable.
