Book 4 in the series - although stands alone fine as I had not read the others and had not trouble understanding plot or characters.
Bobby is part of the Choctaw Nation. He's a very good basketball player and is excited to try out for the all-Indian team that is being formed to compete in a national tournament. Bobby and several of his friends make the team; they make new friends as well. However, they face more than just the challenges of basketball when a serious racial incident and a crime occur.
Author is a member of the Choctaw Nation. Authentic context. Great hi-lo read, engaging storyline, lots of sports action as well.
