No idea where this book is going or what genre this is, but I enjoyed the Asian humor this book has to offer! Also, the characters are hilarious!

This was very fun. Reminds me of the Finlay Donovan series. I’ll be reading the next books in this series.

this was fun enough, but the mystery was way too shallow for me to commit to reading a second installment of this. plus the writing leaned a lot on a goofier kind of humor that doesn't really do much for me. but i enjoyed the character construction, even if the heroine is honestly pretty whatever, she's just kind of there, and the love interest's main personality trait is basically being in love with her (which i'm weirdly okay with) - the aunties really shine here, and i enjoyed their presence more than anything else. it was something fast and easy to listen to, and the audio narrator is really good at all the voices she does!

I listened to most of this while on a walk and I looked like a psychopath as I was laughing out loud but it’s okay because this was worth it, I love this book! Would highly recommend if you just need something light and fun that will make you laugh out loud. The characters were so were the star of the show they were and I really like the romance too.
