The series keeps being entertaining but volume two feels more of a volume 1.2. Yeah, ok, we learn there's a new generation of killer clones but Luke is still running away.
Having the wifey being locked up for two volumes was getting a bit boring, I want to see her more involved in the action instead of being the damsel in distress.
The psycho-killer guy was too on the nose mainly because he doesn't have a reason to be so ruthless. I wanted someone to shot him in the balls but not because he was a threat to the protagonist but because he was a pain in the ass.
SpoilerAnd he also got rid of two of the more interesting characters. Bah!

Clone reads like an action movie that doesn't quite get to blockbuster. I would like the book to explore the dilemma of cloning a bit more, it did at the beginning of the series but now the guys in charge seem more interested in trying to kill/sabotage each other. The office politics also feel disjointed from the main action.

In this volume, the kidnapped wife uses her sexuality to manipulate one of the clones and break free. WHAT A SHOCKING DEVELOPMENT. Between the stereotyping and the art, I pretty much lost interest in this series. It's a little too over the top for my liking.
