Very sweet and interesting lesbian novel. The style is very reminiscent of “pioneer” novels I remember reading as a kid, kind of spare and somewhat matter-of-fact while still being romantic. The romance is very sweet and lovely. There are two brief descriptions of enslaved people that are weird and uncomfortable.
