Stefano has a job to do, and he's got the right men around him to get it done. The only problem is that one of his men, Angelo, has a younger sister, which means she's off limits. But Stefano has been around Angelo and Laura his entire life, and he's sick of hiding from Laura because she's just the type of women Stefano can see a future with. The only problem is telling Angelo about this.
I told Sienna before I agreed to review that I wasn't really into mafia books, but because I enjoy reading her books, I would review. I'm glad I did because our main character, Stefano, was quite surprising to me. While he had a job to do, he wasn't your typical overbearing mob boss. He wasn't afraid to show his feelings, he wasn't an alpha male, and that was completely refreshing. In fact, I think his love interest Laura has some competition.
I love Laura and Stefano together, I think they are good for each other. I enjoyed the way the story unfolded and I liked the fact that the story included other characters, and that you felt you got to know them. Sienna hit quite a few tropes with this one, and she did it well. Nicely done.

Stefano and Laura are great main characters, these characters are well written and this is a good story. Highly recommended read.

A story that literally had me glued to my kindle. A thrilling tale with lots of action with plenty of tender moments.
Oh Stefano. What an alpha hero. Stepping up to the plate and doing things his own way. How my heart swooned! Laura wasn’t a sissy, whiny heroine - which I often find when reading this genre. She had back bone and really charmed me as a reader.
My first book by this author and although I’m aware mafia stories aren’t normally her thing, I loved the style of writing. I will certainly be checking out more of Sienna’s books.

I received an advanced copy of this book and am choosing to review it. No my usual type of book. But I really enjoyed the story line. It's sweet but at the same time hot with strong alfa hero. With good portion of suspense which keep me on the edge of my seat. I didn't want to stop read.
