Dec 2023 Update: I don't often re-listen to audiobooks, but this was still great the second time.
Original Review:
I adored this audiobook! I can't imagine reading this instead. Hearing "Westley" and so many others from the cast was so enjoyable. I recommend this to any Princess Bride fan!

This charming book gave a lot of insight on how the movie was made, what inconceivable accidents can happen behind the camera, and the ups and downs about being in your first movie. Cary Elwes's writing style makes you think you are in the same room with him, laughing along with him like an old friend.
Ok, so this book is just so good and really gave me a even more profound appreciation for the movie. If you liked the movie, then you should absolutely read this book. It is just so lovely and charming and such a pleasure to read.

I don't have anything critical to say of this other than it's nice to know everyone involved in the The Princess Bride's creation had a great time, loves being associated with it, and deeply cared for one another.

A good friend loaned me this book to read, and I'm so very glad. It was just a pure delight to read. I, like so many, love "The Princess Bride." Knowing that the people who made this little gem of a movie had such a special experience making it only adds to my enjoyment of it.
