first off, this is morally dubious as fuck. however, i wasn’t expecting such an intense depiction of ED and it was kinda triggering at first but then i was really moved by it. i’m glad i read it but i question the author’s moral intent with certain narrative choices

i went into this book blind, only cared about the name and cover and thought why not? i did not know what to expect, but sure it wasn't this lol

what i really enjoyed (and the only reason i'm giving it an additional .5 star) was the description of her binge eating habits, and the relationship to her mother... really cutting deep close to my own binging and mommy issues
