i really really liked this book. mickey was such a fun character, very reminscient of percy jackson to me (who is one of my favorite characters ever).

the book starts relatively slowly but it really picks up and gets really really good. i absolutely loved the last third of this book. i only learned there was a sequel while writing this review and i'm very excited for that. i really enjoyed the sci-fi concepts here and how they were used to explore the themes of life and valuing it. was a very difficult book to explain to people irl but it is a blast!! as much as i did enjoy the book i am really just excited to see robert pattinson be mickey in mickey 17 that's gonna be so good.
