Ok so this doesn't seem to be getting the best reviews but I really enjoyed it. Far warning though it is very gory and there is some female nudity. It is a bit unfair that there is female nudity and not male nudity? Maybe but let's be honest boobs are more esthetically pleasing than a dudes dick wagging around everywhere. Was it really needed to have any nudity at all? No not really, but was there any need to have extensive gore at all? No not really. It actually reminded me of your average gory horror movie, you know the ones that have extensive blood and guts and nudity, ya those.
Ok so the story, I actually found it very interesting and unique. The idea is that when our ancestors starting worshipping gods or a god it opened a door of sorts for these dark creatures to come through. Creatures that thrive on chaos and madness. It actually reminds me a lot of Lovecraftian creatures.
Ok so we let dark creepy creatures through but we also let this one dude through who apparently dabbled in being Thor and Zeus and probably the Christian God. So this guy leads this group called the Storm against the monsters that are called the Serpents. Which sounds a bit biblical to me.
The story gets a bit wonky during the final battle, there is a lot going on on each page along with things trying to be explained throughout.
Neither side wins, so are there new gods now, the two main characters? Will new gods take over?
As for the art, most of it was really well done and then their were certain panels that were just off.
So recap: gore, nudity, weird creepy Dead Space like creatures, one beardy God, acceptable art, and a unique story.

It’s not a zero because it’s not the worst this I’ve ever read. It’s just… bad. Weak. Plenty of boobs for those who want them, tho.
