As a child of the 80's who grew up on Friday the 13th, Slumber Party Massacre and countless other slasher gems I could not pass up this book. Bunch of hot teens just out of high school go to the Lake House for one last party before college and surprise surprise end up dying one by one.
I wasn't expecting much but this was actually really well written and kept me on the edge of my seat.
The 5 star rating is not for the literary significance or symbolism included - it's for my personal enjoyment of the book.
I really enjoyed this one. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone but there are quite a few of my friends that will hear about this book and I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.
