This may be my favorite book in the wedding date series!! I especially loved Theo’s character- can’t wait for the next book which I’m assuming is his mother and maybe some more of Theo and Maddie ☺️

3.5. I liked [b:The Proposal|37584991|The Proposal (The Wedding Date, #2)|Jasmine Guillory|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1550603962l/37584991._SY75_.jpg|59080053] better, but this was easy fun.

I am happy, I gave Guillory’s novels another shot. I really enjoyed this novel. This love story was very modern and relatable.

3.5 stars.
If you're looking for a rom-com in book form, this is definitely one for you. I've not read any of Jasmine Guillory's other books yet, but will do so in the future. The diversity in this book was phenomenal as rom-com are often filled with white people, so it's wonderful to read a book with two black main characters in similar tropes.

Love all the eating. Nobody is obsessing about weight. So much body worshipping.

Really fun, with sweet characters for whom I was rooting the whole time. I love how Guillory writes such competent, yet realistic and whole, adult characters — that feels rare in romance. Plus it’s fun to see the “Guillory Cinematic Universe” of characters start to come together.
