Feluda is one of my favourite detectives since I started reading. My first Feluda story was from the school library and I was fascinated to discover a detective from my state of residence. From then onwards every time I stumble upon Feluda's stories and read them with great pleasure.

So if you ever get a chance, do read some of Feluda's adventures.

Unputdownable!!

I finished reading it in one sitting.
This is such a clever book, even though I managed to figure out 2-3 plot twists.
The character of Feluda has many departures from the classical detective but also many continuities - he is intelligent, brave and courageous.
The book is so visual, full of imagery; I could almost see it play out in front of my eyes like a movie. I absolutely loved it.

Wow! I wish had come across this book when l was still in middle school because this is exactly the type of book l used to enjoy back then. I would have ate it up. Nevertheless, l still loved it at 17 which just goes to show how great the book actually is. It was unbelievably refreshing to read a middle grade mystery novel based in India. It took me all the way back to grade 5.

Feluda was originally written by Satyajit Ray for the children’s magazine ‘Sandesh’. The popularity of the series was such that Ray went on to include a few adult themes in the later stories when he realized that even adults were enjoying the series.
I actually read Feluda before Agatha Christie and as such Feluda was my introduction to detective fiction. The best part of the stories is the evergreen manner of Ray’s narrative. I remember reading ‘Baadhshahi Angti’ which was written in 1960s and when I visited Lucknow in 1990s, I could still recognize the places described in the book. The other thing that I loved about the series was that in every story we learned something new – be it about geometry or about telepathy.
Absolutely and irrevocably in love with Feluda and his adventures – forever a fan.

অবশেষে জটায়ুর দেখা মিলল। এখন পর্যন্ত পড়া গল্পের মধ্যে এটাই সবচেয়ে ভালো লাগল।
