L + I don’t have these issues + boring + Stephen King is best when writing from the pov of fucked up men. Thought from the title this was gonna be one of his apocalypse stories which I like the best and it wasn’t and also the cultural context of this was ehhhh lacking and boring. Ending was rushed and took any horror out of it frankly embarrassing idk what King was going through at the time to make a book this bad/unlike his style. Actually thinking about it now—it was obviously born out of guilt at how terrible people have said his female characters were previously. U are a one-trick pony Stephen. Stick to what you know
