This was a beautiful omnibus edition of Christmas stories. Is it weird to call stories beautiful? It’s not your typical collection with your typical tales (ie. Christmas Carol, Gift of the Magi, or Nutcracker). Have you ever heard of “The Blossoming Rod” or authors like Hesba Stretton and Mary Stewart Cutting because I sure never did. But now, oh my soul, I need MORE from these authors! A lot of highlighting and underlining went on. “Christmas- A Story” by Zona Gale made me cry happy tears at the end!! Each story had such a good moral and left your heart feeling so warm. Perfect read to have with a cup of hot cocoa.
