I liked this, I did.
Gordimer's style is just so dry. It's almost boring in a sense. I didn't feel the tension of the characters and I had a hard time feeling for any of them. The oppression and devices used throughout the stories showed chance for emotional depth but I just couldn't find it myself. Shame.
