I want to like this book however the blatant use of a racial slur (G****) that is commonly used against Roma individuals is disgusting and the fact that travelers are deemed as mystical and magical people who are untrustworthy and spark bargains with the devil is not only horrendous but is dehumanising to an already marginalised group of people. It's such a shame that this series went from one of my cosy reads to one I will likely struggle to finish.

New Enemies

What I enjoyed about this book was the fact that Marzie resolves one problem faced by the main characters in this series, but a new foe is also introduced that proves to be bigger and badder than what they’ve dealt with previously. There’s a hint of romance and rivalry between Brule and Grady that is sure to blow up at some point. I feel like this book was better edited than the first, but it still has some grammatical and spelling mistakes. Again, I still want to continue to read and find out what happens to Marzie and her friends.

Witchy who dun it

I am really enjoying this series. As every the main story progresses around a murder and unlike some mystery series I haven't been able to guess who in fact "dun it" Fun and definitely aimed at the peri menopause or menopause age lady. I intend to read them all. Brilliant.
