This story done done light on some of the most mysterious characters in the series (
Mark and Gard
). It does a lot of world building for such a short piece and feels like a chapter within a Dresden book instead of a standalone story like some others do. Overall very fond and it has some wild
Beowolf
connections that I didn't see coming at all in this series.

Look at this point , you just have to take for granted that anything Dresden files is going to get a good rating from me , so regardless of what you think of this book , i had a blast , seeing the tag team of Dresden with Gard , with a whole lot of Mouse adverture.  It all was a jolly good time . In the end the finally felt a bit rushed but considering it was a short story , i really dont mind much

Hary and Gard working together to save a new bride from an awful destiny. And we learn A LOT about Gard. Very entertaining and I love how well those two worked together. Lots of fun!
