One can still learn new things everyday. Apparently most of Michigan is in the eastern time zone. And the first Russian writer to win the Nobel Prize of literature is Ivan Bunin. Dark Avenues is Bunin's widely read short stories collection. In a wide range of settings from urbane France to leisurely rural dachas to drafty servants' sleeping quarters, Bunin captures all things and parts about life which are of the erotically charged variety. He does it very well because I would guess he knew it very well. In smooth flowing (translated) prose we are taken on a tour through all of what love brings whether it be joy, passion, madness or all of the above.
