Mella has a hard time believing in herself but as she goes on this adventure she is the only one that can save the egg, so whether or not she believes in herself she has to keep going. She has to succeed. I love dragons and the dragons in this book are delightful. There is a lot of unexplained stuff at the end that I would have liked to hear more about but it doesn't affect the story that you never get told. It's a really good and very enjoyable book and I would recommend it to any dragon lover.
