I haven't found many - if at all - short stories that I've enjoyed thoroughly but I really like this one for its subdued traits. That, and the persona of a quiet, small-town American-styled story, reminiscence of Tom Hanks' audiobook narration of The Dutch House. Just up my alley.
I'd like to check out the author's entire Girl Trouble collection, but in doses taken intermittently.
