The narrator for this audiobook is not the best. He pronounces some things strangely and his voice is very nasally. The content itself is pretty solid, but saying it's for anyone starting anything is really not true. It's for people starting businesses who plan to raise a shit load of venture capital and people who are already in giant business who want to start a new product/department/whatever. It's not really for people who want to start small businesses; there's pretty much zero info on how to do that after the first few chapters, which are very general (but have some good advice). So if you're starting a giant business or are already in a giant business, it's probably going to help you a lot. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.

Easy read gave me things to think about as I attempted my own start.

Compact, absolutely-no-bullshit blast of ... the art of the start. Despite the title ("... Anyone Starting Anything"), this book is laser-focused on an unfunded entrepreneur bootstrapping a business or, maybe, a non-profit.

Watching scared cows being slaughtered is always a great pleasure, and with one gormless platitude or another garrotted every sentence or two, this book is a joy to read. And it's short too.

Read it twice.

Mostly hot air. Not worth the time.

3.5 This isn't a page turner but it's filled with useful information. He's very blunt with his advice which is refreshing. I think it's a great start to learning more about entrepreneurship and how to go about the different aspects pertaining to it.

Light and vague, but a quick read and there are individual parts that I imagine I'll go back and reread.
