We start out this story with a brief recap from Suz, reminding us of her place in the Dalek Empire, as supposed host of the Dalek Emperor. From there, we jump forward many years, to when the Daleks have, once more, been forgotten. Rumors of their return have started to spread, and the last survivor of the Dalek Invasion is sought out from the depths of space. Tacked on is the introduction of our new cast, employees of a sort of space nature preserve, who find the protected ecology of their planet of study under threat from a sudden alien invasion.
I'm not sure where this new section of the Dalek Empire series is going, but it really feels like we should have stopped at the second set. A whole new cast has been introduced, and I'm finding it hard to care for them, after so long with the old players.

It was interesting hearing David Tennant's voice since his character is not The Doctor. This is the first time I've listened to a doctor who audio drama.
