This honestly might be the only manga series I’ve rated so high that I don’t really care to continue. It wasn’t bad and I was interested in the world but I could go without picking up another volume for a couple months.

Lovely graphics, but I'm not sure that digital is the best way to view them. I can't help but feel that something is lost in the transfer.

These books have really good illustrations that help make the world that the reader steps into intruiging. (Plus D is so hott!! heehee) I came to admire the way Takaki draws the characters and settings. It's different but beautiful. Book three has the best color drawing in the front. Eeeep!! So romantic!

A great manga. Most people probably know the iconic anime. To those fans, don’t be surprised at some of the changes you see in this graphic novel. The story takes its inspiration more from the original novels as opposed to the anime. Definitely a must read for fans of the anime & novels.

Not great, not terrible. I love the artwork...except for the female bodies. Man do I hate the female bodies. The backgrounds and facial art are gorgeous, however. Some of the characters were fun (LOVE the hand), but I had D's background figured out really early, and it seemed like they could decide whether Doris should be an awesome, strong woman, or a falling-down, Bella-type woman. That was disappointing, because she had promise in the beginning.

The nudity precludes this from being kept on my shelf for my students, but I think a lot of them would enjoy it if the read it. Maybe the novel would be okay?

Stays pretty true to the novella, although some scenes were merged to make it more manageable. I'm not sure I would have followed it as well if I had not read the novella first.
