I read this as part of reading children's books by respected Indigenous authors.
Sally Morgan is famous for her classic Australian memoir [b:My Place|1144682|My Place|Sally Morgan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1328766302l/1144682._SX50_.jpg|2320286] and she has written a number of other fictional works and collections of poetry.
This gorgeous picture book has a delightful little story and would be worth reading to any little person.
The copy I read was a local library copy.
