Frankenstein refuses to be a good dad, and makes it everyone’s problem.

I found myself fairly sympathetic to the creature in this story. I also felt that the sections focused solely on him were the most fascinating in the whole book. It was so cool to see him learn how to understand the world, speak, and read completely separated from the humans he so desperately wanted to join.
The rivalry between the creature and Victor was intriguing, especially when during their period of intense mutual hatred.

Overall it was a cool book that I’m glad I read, even if Victor’s constant whining made it a bit difficult to get through at times.

Ich bin absolut begeistert. Definitiv aus gutem Grund ein Klassiker.

An dieser Stelle ein Shoutout an die Hörbuchfassung von WDR5.
