This book was so comforting to me. A reminder to trust and listen to myself.

Didn’t really care for the narrative of the author. Felt very surface level.

A thought provoking story of being human . I find this book so difficult to really explain, while yes it's about the author's life, its poetically written in a way that's completely relatable , raw and inspiring. This book makes you feel seen, heard and understood while guiding you to keep moving through life's journey with grace and knowing. Its not a self help, but leaves you feeling moved , inspired and validated. Its a read that I've been working through for the last 2 years because its not something to be sat and finished in a weekend. Its meant to be consumed slowly, to make you really think and connect to the stories throughout the book and reflect on your own life. I truly believe every woman could draw something inspirational and life changing from Glennon's experiences and it would be an important read for young women . I'd definitely say this book is in my top 5 favorites of all time , and feel like it truly is a work of art, something that moves you deep down in your soul.

I really liked this at first, then it seemed very repetitive and boring. This sort of self-help-ish (I guess you could call it?) book is not really a genre I read or am interested in reading. I didn’t know going into it that it would shape up to be like that. I definitely appear to be in the minority, so if that type of book is your jam, you would probably enjoy this!

This book spoke to me. I’ve been on a journey of self-love since my mom’s death. The biggest question being, what does that mean? After heartbreaks, disappointments, what has felt like failures, I Know and I am Taylor. Glennon’s voice and art relayed what it means eloquently. I highly recommend this read. It will be a go-to read for me every year. I’m handing it off to my sister, bought a couple copies for my friends and for my step mom.

There were parts of this that felt real and raw and other parts that felt way to polished. It made it hard to stay engaged the entire time.

an interesting read. not what i expected at all, and in a good way. i love how the chapters were short little “excerpts” about her life and how she just imparted knowledge to us in the simplest of ways.
