Well well well, while we were reading book 2 from Jack's perspective Ethan sure was a busy bee behind the scenes. So much more makes sense now. Not to mention spending time in Ethan's head was as always enlightening. How he thinks and excuses many of his actions to himself is intriguing to say the least. Hearing him sort out all the new emotions he's been beginning to feel is both terribly sad and wonderfully heartwarming at times.

I loved him. As easy as that I knew it.

I'm glad LJ gave us this gift, this little peice of Ethan. So many moments in book 2 had me wondering what was going through our favorite little assassins head, especially during the momentous BJ scene! We are given that and more. If you're a fan of the series, this novella is a must.

This is basically book 2 from Ethan’s perspective. I don’t usually go for those but for most of book 2 we had no idea what Ethan was doing. I found this one a worthwhile read. I enjoyed seeing things from Ethan’s perspective in general and learning about all the assassins and Ethan’s past.

I think the "novellas" are where this series really shines. I have been completely hooked since 1.4. This one we get completely from Ethan's POV, and it's fantastic. It fills in all the holes of his mysterious background and explains why he is who he is, both good and bad. When's the last book coming out?!?! I can't wait :)

It was interesting to learn where Blade came from, but unfortunately that whole origin story pushes hard against my suspension of disbelief. By the end, I was happy enough to have read it. But, surprisingly, much of the time, I was a little bored. It wasn't different enough seeing Blade's side of this story. There is a distance emotionally which is an aspect of Blade, but which works against my enjoyment .

We get a whole book book from Ethan's POV!! Yeah baby!! I was so excited to dive into it. This is the 2nd book from Ethan's view and while the plot may not be new, it sure felt like it especially since it's been a while since I read the last book.

Ethan is such a cinnamon roll and I just want to wrap him in a blanket and hug him so bad!! Give him all the hugs! It was like I going through all the action, pain and heartache all over again.

When I found out that we were getting a whole book from Ethan's POV, I almost died with happiness. I've loved from the moment I met him(sorry Jack, I'm sure you understand
